Hopefully this is the right place-- I can't find a Catch forum anywhere, and I would think many people on this forum use Catch now that TVShows is dead.
I have Catch set up with ShowRSS to download magnet torrents, and PMS and Transmission running on a Mac mini connected directly to my plasma. I have two accounts, one with PHT running, and the other that has the rest running. This is so I can VNC and log in to the other account and do stuff with Transmission, copying files etc., while watching PHT.
Before, it seemed to download fine in the background without intervention. Recently, I have to VNC and login to the account with Catch and Transmission for it to actually download the magnets and start the torrents, otherwise it doesn't. So if I wait say two weeks, then even though ShowRSS is releasing things and Catch seems to recognize them, they don't actually start until I VNC in, and then suddenly like 20 magnet links will show up in Transmission and start downloading.
Any ideas as to why this is the case? Shouldn't it just run in the background and do its thing? Why would logging in matter?
