Plex for Sony Bravia with OperaTV

So I recently bought a Sony Bravia KDL-42W706b and the OperaTV Store has a Plex app. But when I enter the app, it says it's exclusive for Plex Pass users. Is there a way to buy the access to the app without the Plex Pass? And does the app even work well?
